Our labor rate, diagnostic fees and typical repair ranges, published in full so you can compare before you book.
Rates
Posted labor rate, posted diagnostic fees
Our labor rate is $132 per hour, billed in tenths of an hour against published times. Shop supplies are capped at 6% of labor, maximum $28. Michigan sales tax applies to parts. Nothing else appears on the invoice unless you approved it in writing.

Estimates
How our estimates work
You receive an itemized estimate by text or email before work begins: part numbers, part prices, labor hours at the posted rate, refrigerant quantity, supplies and tax. It is valid for 14 days.
- Any increase over $25 requires a new approval — no exceptions.
- Diagnostic fees are credited toward the repair when approved within 7 days.
- Declining the repair costs you the diagnostic fee only.
- Storage is free for 5 calendar days after we notify you the vehicle is ready.
- We do not charge for a re-test of our own completed work.
Payment
Paid at pickup, in the shop
We accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover at the counter when you collect the vehicle. Fleet accounts with an approved application are invoiced monthly, net 15.
This website does not process payments. We will never email you a payment link, ask for card details in writing, or request payment by gift card, wire or cryptocurrency. If you receive such a message claiming to be from us, call 248-273-0823 before acting on it.

Local shuttle
Rides within 5 miles, weekdays before 4:00 pm, first-come.
Post-repair re-test
Vent temperatures re-measured under load and recorded on the invoice.
Old parts back
Returned on request unless a core charge requires them to ship back.
